Here are pictures of the gifts we got from our first baby shower.

This is James building the crib.

Still building the crib and sticking his tongue out at me.
He didn't even break a sweat. What a hard worker.
Still acting like it was SUPER hard work.
I told James to not be in the picture so he hid under the crib. Can you see him?

Finished crib without James in the picture.

All the gifts we got from the first baby shower. What a great family. I really thank them for what they did for us. Now we can have Lexi today and not worry about that stuff. The only problem will be the fact that I still have a few weeks left before she is suppose to be due.

Yes, you don't want her to come too early cause she's still got some growing to do. My doctor told me they grow half a pound a week there at the end. That's quite a bit... not to mention the developing that still needs to happen. Just have her wait til at least 37 weeks and you'll be full term and she'll be safe to come. I remember wanting Dani to come early because I was so anxious to see her and to be more comfortable, but I'm so glad she came when she did and we didn't have to worry about health problem.

(Ok, this is what I really wanted to comment)...OOOOhhh, I'm so excited for you. Seeing the little tiny clothes makes me so giddy! I'm excited to see little Lexi. I bet it feels even more real now with all that baby stuff in your apartment... especially the crib!

What a GREAT extended family. It looks like your first party went well. What a cute crib and what a good hubby to put it up for you! I love you and can't wait for this little girl to bless our family!

We will be happy whenever she comes, but like Emily, the longer she stays in, the healthier she will be!
